Come on in

Want to know a secret?

There's a food orgy going on
in a community garden near you. Your cast-off apple cores and coffee grinds are begging to be a part of it but they can't join the earthen upheaval alone.

Come closer. Take an intimate look at those steamy compost bins — and at yourself. We won't tell. Unless you want us to.

Share your secret

The lids of our bins may be closed — food scraps prefer to decompose in private — but our ears (and certain other parts) are always open. No problem too small. Or too big. We'll break it down. Together.

Shovel ready

SoftCore can't — and doesn't want to — contain itself. Like compost, SoftCore wants to fertilize beds, from Rockaway to the Bronx to the deepest crannies of Queens and neglected nooks of Staten Island. Perhaps you know a concrete patch ripe for fertilization or a pile of forgotten food scraps longing for verdant vibration.

Don't be shy.

Find a patch of dry land to inject with unbridled organisms or a fallow part of yourself in need of renewal.

Fess up. What's festering inside you -- and in your greater garden?
